1. How does the Viewer Ceiling Rule affect project member assignments?
If an organization member holds the Viewer role at the organization level, they can only be assigned the Viewer role on individual projects. They cannot be granted administrative, editing, or testing privileges unless an Organization Owner or Admin upgrades their organization role first.
2. Can I import my own custom checklists?
Yes. You can build custom checklist templates from scratch or customize existing checklists within your organization workspace. Custom checklists support descriptions, execution steps, tool linkages, and custom payload attachments.
3. How do multiple operators collaborate on the same checklist simultaneously?
Checklist item status updates and notes are synchronized through atomic backend updates. Multiple testers can execute separate test cases in parallel without conflicting with one another.
Common Troubleshooting Scenarios
1. Invitation Link Expired or Invalid
- Symptom: Invitee receives an error stating the invitation token is invalid or expired.
- Resolution: Organization invitations are single-use tokens valid for 48 hours. An Organization Admin or Owner can navigate to Organization Settings → Members → Pending Invites and click Resend Invitation to issue a fresh activation link.
2. CSV Bulk Asset Upload Validation Errors
- Symptom: Uploading a CSV asset list returns a validation error.
- Resolution: Verify that your CSV file includes a
valuecolumn header and valid entries. Ensure CIDR notations follow standard syntax (e.g.,192.168.1.0/24) and domains do not include leading protocols unless classified as URLs.
3. Session Refresh Across Multiple Browser Tabs
- Symptom: You are prompted to log in after leaving a tab idle for a long period.
- Resolution: Active tabs automatically coordinate session renewal. If a tab has been backgrounded for an extended period past token expiry, refreshing the active tab will restore your active session context.
